Abstract
Over 77% of households in Ghana have suffered income
losses because of the Covid-19 pandemic, leaving families
struggling to meet their basic needs. Low-income and
vulnerable members of society have been hardest hit by
rising unemployment rates, lost wages, and diminished
remittances.
As part of its efforts to promote an inclusive pandemic
recovery, the government introduced a variety of policies
to address these challenges and address growing
inequality. These include policies to ensure the availability
of necessities.
