In Tanzania, mNutrition is implemented through the ‘Healthy Pregnancy, Healthy Baby’ (HPHB) SMS (text messaging) programme, which is part of the Wazazi Nipendeni mHealth platform (WN). The programme is run by the mHealth Tanzania public-private partnership, which was initiated in 2012 by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, with financial support from the US government Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP).
