dc.description.abstract | The CLARISSA Nepal Action Research Group discussed in this report is located in a UNESCO world heritage site, in one of the Durbar Squares in Kathmandu Valley. The location was selected as a cluster for CLARISSA processes due to its density of street-connected children and child street vendors. These children are highly mobile, and the nature of the neighbourhood is diverse. The involvement of children in child labour, such as children working in small-scale khaja ghars and Adult Entertainment Sector venues, can be directly seen in this area, making it an important location for CLARISSA Action Research. This Action Research Group focused on two topics: children discontinuing their studies due to homelessness and negligence, and children falling into substance abuse. | |
