dc.description.abstractMost Business and industrial organizations use systematic performance appraisal procedures for both non supervisors and managerial employees. Performance Appraisal is important in organization because use of numerous purpose for which it is employed and its impact on individual as well as organizations. Non industrial Organization such as military services government agencies hospitals and Universities also use such procedures intensively performance appraisal has been mandatory in most federal agencies since congress passed the civil service Reform act of 1978. Most employees worry of performance appraisal in an organizations. This is driving force behind my study. The search for performance appraisal can help us to know the over all organizational and individual effectiveness and efficiency more over performance appraisal can be necessary for an organization because it helps the organization to maintain conducive work environment in addition it helps the organization to make administrative decisions relating to promotions, fringes lay of _ and merit, pay increases performance appraisal information can also provide needed input for determining both and individual and organizational training and development needs. Above all performance appraisal helps the employees for performance improvements.en
