Like every other scientific theory, socialist development has its own rationale which determines its priorities independent of the subjective wish of its planners. Hence the dialectical fact that the whole process of socio-economic development and of all objects develop through contradictions. A study of these contradictions and their correct resolution is the essence of a successful and conscious development. Without this scientific approach the development of Socialism 'will be haphazard, irrational and eventually destructive' (Babu 19®1 page 158).en_GB
