COVID-19 Health Evidence Summary No.10
Abstract
This daily COVID-19 Health Evidence Summary is to signpost DFID and other UK government departments to the latest relevant evidence and discourse on COVID-19 to inform and support their response. It is a result of 3 hours of work and is not intended to be a comprehensive summary of evidence. This summary covers seven publications on global coalition to accelerate COVID-19 clinical research in resource-limited settings, inequality as a driver to spread COVID-19, realistic alternatives for COVID-19 response in low-income countries, safeguard research in the time of COVID-19, interim guidance for implementation of NTD programmes by WHO, quantifying SARS-CoV-2 transmission suggests epidemic control with digital contact tracing, and WHO urges countries to ensure the continuity of malaria services in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic . This summary also covers global evidence on tracking COVID-19 cases, online course by LSHTM, and COVID-19 resource hubs that are accessible by the public.
