dc.description.abstractGender imbalance is examined in light of its potential impact is the performance of the organization. The objectives of the study to assess the status of the University with regard to gender and to proposed feasible course of actions. Primary and secondary data was collected for undertaking this study. The collected data was analyzed by using such simple descriptive statistical method. The result shows the presence of gender imbalance in the academic and administrative part of the University. Generally the study conclude that gender imbalance is a problem in the academic and administrative staff of the University, also it has an effect on the performance of organization and development of country as a whole.en
