dc.description.abstract	This study of new churches was commissioned by Diakonia, a joint project of established churches in the greater Durban area. Diakonia's interest and concern about the new churches arose principally because the new churches appear to be discouraging their members from developing an interest in issues of social justice. The role of the new churches might be counterproductive for the progress of justice and peace in South Africa.	en_GB
