In the late 1980s the chairman of Chamatamba grazing scheme, together with the rest of his committee, eloquently articulated their vision of how land use and resource management within Chamatamba's boundaries could be organised. This vision greatly impressed the many visitors to Chamatamba in this period, and was instrumental in securing for this prize-winning scheme large donations of funds and materials, as well as significant levels of extension support.en_GB
