An environmental impact assessment of economic land-use activity by rural farmers on the environment in Zimbabwe.en
This chapter partly addresses the relationship between land-use and the natural environment in the small-scale farming sector under a climate of macro-economic liberalization. This theme covers two interrelated aspects of land and natural resources management, namely, the use and products of their management, and the changing land tenure systems. There are two main areas of focus in this theme: (i) The relationship between land-use/cover and the physical environment, and (ii) The changing nature of land and natural resource markets and systems of land tenure and administration.en
