Patta Scott-Villiers

Patta Scott-Villiers is an action researcher at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), where she has worked since 1996. Her research focuses on the East African drylands, collaborating with communities on the margins of political power to generate citizen-led perspectives on governance and security. In addition to her research, she teaches action research methodology at IDS and convenes the Master’s degree in Power, Participation, and Social Change.
