This review is the final part of K4DD’s three-part series on trade. The first review conducted introductory evidence mapping of trade agreements looking at the types of trade agreement and the impact of trade agreements on trade outcomes (trade creation, trade diversion and trade harmonisation). The second review goes further to look at the trade barriers that exist/arise from trade agreements and regulations and its impact on trade, particularly in developing countries and low-income countries (LICs). The review also provides an introduction to the methodological approaches adopted to study for mitigating these barriers.
