The Effects Of South African Destabilisation On Mining In The SADCC

In the beginning of the 1980s South Africa launched a series of strategies in order to undermine efforts by other states in Southern Africa to promote regional development and reduce economic dependence. One of the main targets has been the mining industries in the SADCC countries. In the following article Paul Jourdan evaluates the major effects of this policy.
