After its successful introduction in Asia,
Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), is now being piloted in some countries
in sub-Saharan Africa. This themed
issue analyses experiences from these
pilots, drawing out what seems to be
working, where the challenges are, and
how the approach needs to be adapted for
this new context.
