This rapid evidence review focusses on Parliamentary Support Programmes (PSPs). In particular the review covers what practices work and what does not work in the building of effective, accountable and inclusive institutions to achieve SDG 16 goals (building strong institutions and achieving peace and justice). This goal is aligned with the UK White Paper on International Development1 . The review comprises a range of sources to explore successes and challenges to implementing PSPs. The report comprises literature from grey sources, including publications from international development and donor organisations. Some published academic literature was also utilised but the availability of information from this source was limited.
