Labour problems in the economic and social development of Zambia

Zambia lying between latitude 10 degrees and 18 degrees South between longitudes 22 degrees and 33 degrees East has an area of 288, 130 square miles. It is bounded on the North by the Republic of the Congo (Kinshasa) and Tanzania, on the East by Malawi, on the South by Mozambique, Rhodesia, Botswana and South West Africa, and on the West by Angola. For the most part it consists of a high plateau of a general elevation of from 3, 500 to 4,500 feet above sea level.
