ESRC-DFID Research on Children and Youth in Africa. Putting children first: Identifying solutions and taking action to tackle poverty and inequality in Africa 23- 25 October 2017

This booklet was prepared for the international conference:"Putting children first: Identifying solutions and taking action to tackle poverty and inequality in Africa" which took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 23-25 October 2017. It provides an overview of research on children and young people in Africa encompassing 38 projects focused in 22 countries enabled by the ESRC-DFID Strategic Partnership from (i) The Joint Fund for Poverty Alleviation, and (ii) The Raising Learning Outcomes in Education Systems Programme.
