REVITALIZING THE UNITED NATIONS: FIVE PROPOSALS

SUMMARY The five proposals deal with: relations between the Bretton Woods Institutions and the UN; a new integration of peace and development; the need for global economic management; strengthening the resources of the UN; and such specific roles for the UN as human resources, technical assistance and UN operational programmes.
