This paper reviews the two electrodiagnostic techniques - nerve conduction measurements and electromyography. A brief description of each technique is given followed by their clinical applications. Finally the types of abnormalities observed and discussed and where possible, illustrated.

A CAJM article on electrodiagnostic techniques now being used in hospitals and surgeries.
