An analysis of the demand for sugar in East Africa

FrankThis EDRP paper is the basis for one of the chapters in a monograph dealing with some problems in the development of the sugar industry in East Africa. The purpose of this paper is to attempt to measure the effects of various variables on sugar consumption in East Africa and to project consumption to 1970 by an analysis of time series data.
