Abstract
This daily COVID-19 Health Evidence Summary is to signpost DFID and other UK government departments to the latest relevant evidence and discourse on COVID-19 to inform and support their response. This summary is a result of 3 hours of work and is not intended to be a comprehensive summary of evidence. This summary covers ten publications on carving a path towards a COVID-19 vaccine by Sarah Gilbert, As outcomes are uncertain, pick no-regret policies, No-regret policies for the COVID-19 crisis in developing countries, Global ceasefire would be a gamechanger for 250 million children living in conflict-affected areas, Strengthening accountability of the global health metrics enterprise, Habitat fragmentation, livelihood behaviors, and contact between people and nonhuman primates in Africa, Tracking the World Bank’s response to COVID-19, COVID-19 in humanitarian settings and lessons learned from past epidemics, Localization in the COVID-19 Global Humanitarian Response, and U-Report. This summary also covers online learning and events, and tracking dashboards that are accessible by the public.
